READING TEXTS FOR LEVEL 1 (SPECIFICALLY YEAR 3)
Assalamualaikum and hi. Have you completed the previous worksheets? 😊😊
Sharing with you reading texts emphasizing on more complex 11 phonemes (sound) targetting Year 3 pupils or Year 1 and Year 2 pupils who have mastered previous phonemes😊.
Parents can practise each sound with its action repeatedly to help our kids learn/remember the sound more easily. You will notice that there are a few phonemes that have similar actions with previously learned phonemes (means they have similar sounds despite the different spelling!😀)
1. I've made some tiny notes; indicating the learning standard involved for each section.
2. Formative assessment: Each worksheet has been differentiated to suit two level of proficiency: Look for the star sign: 1-star worksheet is quite easy, 2-star worksheet is more challenging.
